Our Product Development Team has thoroughly modified our curriculum and operating procedures to best accommodate the practices endorsed by public health officials. We've also created a health and safety course, specific to our current situation, that all Soccer Shots coaches will be required to complete prior to returning to on-field coaching.

Safety Protocols for Soccer Shots classes:

• Hand sanitizer for each child/parent before they enter Soccer Island
• Curriculum modifications to encourage greater distancing in classes
• Updated coaching best practices, including wearing face shields (per local guidelines) and sanitizing gear (balls, cones, goals, etc)

Parents guidelines for Soccer Shots classes:

• Wash and sanitize hands before arriving at Soccer Island
• Adhere to state and/or local jurisdiction regarding face covering requirements
• Practice social distancing by trying to stay 6 feet away from others that do not live in your household
• Stay home when you are sick and keep your children home from Soccer Island if they are sick
• If attending a Mini class (Ages 2-3), we ask that only one family member per child be present on Soccer Island

• Soccer Shots Policies

  CREDIT AND REFUND POLICY: In our effort to consider children and families that are enrolled in our programs, and also our staff and coaches, the following policies are active for credits and refunds:

  We are hopeful and planning that all Soccer Shots seasons will be able to be completed in person. However, in the event that Soccer Shots in-person sessions cannot continue due to local or federal restrictions, we will replace sessions with On-The-Go or offer a Credit for the remaining sessions. Credits can be used at any future site or season within our Central Northern PA territory and may be used for any child. We are not able to issue refunds due to local or federal restrictions at this time.

  If our partner site would close/restrict usage of their property, we will make every attempt to find a suitable alternative for your family. If that is not possible, we will replace sessions with On-The-Go or offer a credit.

  If you must withdraw from a program prior to the start of the season, please contact us and we can work with you.

  DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH GUIDELINES:

  • As a business operating in Pennsylvania, we must comply with any and all orders that are issued from the PA Department of Health.
  • Any new updates that would be issued for businesses, gatherings, sports, etc that would apply to Soccer Shots will be followed and communicated with families.

  AS A REMINDER:

  • There is no refund of the $30.00 registration fee that is charged once every 365 days.
  • Refunds will not be issued for failure to attend a scheduled or make up class.
  • Should Soccer Shots find it necessary to remove a child from a class, a refund will be issued after deduction for classes already attended.
  • Refunds prior to week 3 of the season will be given for the remaining sessions only.
  • No refunds or credits will be issued for failure to attend a make-up session.
  • All requests for refunds must be made in writing and emailed to a Soccer Shots representative.
  • Soccer Shots shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event a class is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of classes impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, earthquake, labor strike, extreme weather, pandemic, or other emergency.

  MAKE-UP CLASSES & CANCELLATIONS:

  • During spring, summer and fall seasons, whenever possible, we will use indoor space during inclement weather. If there is no indoor space available, we will make up a maximum of two classes due to inclement weather (extreme cold, heat, or rain).
  • During the winter season, if your school or center is closed on a Soccer Shots day due to snow or other weather-related issues, we will work with your school or center to reschedule up to two cancelled sessions or offer a make up session at a different location and time.
  • Make up classes may be held on a different day or time than the regularly scheduled class.
  • Soccer Shots reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment. Upon cancellation, a full refund will be made.

  ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL POLICY:

  • Parents must sign out children from after-school programs at their childcare center. Parents are expected to arrive a few minutes before the session is complete.
  • If your child is to be picked up by someone other than yourself, please note authorized pickup person on the registration.
